Tsypochka / Little Chick

Tsypochka (Цыпочка), meaning “Little Chick” in Russian, is a wonderfully productive yellow tomato with distinctive plum-shaped fruits ending in a charming little pointed beak.

The bright yellow fruits typically weigh 70–100 g and have dense, meaty yet juicy flesh without large empty cavities. The flavour is sweet and mild, making them delicious fresh while their firm texture also makes them particularly well suited to whole-fruit preserving and pickling.

One of Tsypochka’s most impressive features is its large multiflora trusses, which can carry up to 40 fruits on a single cluster. Plants are vigorous, indeterminate and reach around 1.7–2 m, producing generously over a long season.
