Sofias Fiery comet

Sofia’s Fiery Comet is an extraordinary modern variety created by Russian breeder Sofia Saakova. Its dramatic elongated heart-shaped fruits develop a distinctive long, curved tip, giving them the appearance of a fiery comet streaking through the sky.

The colouring is equally spectacular: raspberry-pink and scarlet fruits streaked with yellow and gold, crowned by dark blue-purple anthocyanin shoulders. Fruits generally weigh 100–300 g, with dense, meaty flesh, little gel and a wonderfully sweet, fruity and rich flavour.
