Persuasion

Persuasion is a spectacular multicoloured tomato bred by Wild Boar Farms, combining unusual pigmentation with excellent flavour. The fruits ripen to a beautiful deep pink or rose, decorated with gold, peach and green striping and dramatic purple-blue anthocyanin shoulders.

The round to oval saladette-sized fruits typically weigh 60–180 g, with juicy, meaty mahogany-red flesh. The flavour is sweet and fruity with mild acidity, making Persuasion particularly delicious for fresh eating, salads and slicing. The fruits also have good keeping qualities after harvest.

Plants are vigorous, indeterminate and mid-season, producing generously throughout the summer. A striking collector’s variety offering an extraordinary combination of colour, flavour and productivity.
