Minusinsk Orange Elephant

Minusinski Orange Slon (Минусинский Оранжевый Слон), meaning “Minusinsk Orange Elephant,” is a rare large-fruited Siberian variety from the famous tomato-growing region of Minusinsk, Russia.

It produces impressive golden-orange beefsteak tomatoes, typically weighing around 300–600 g, with exceptionally dense, meaty flesh and relatively few seeds. The flavour is rich, sweet and full-bodied, with the gentle fruitiness characteristic of many orange tomatoes.

Plants are vigorous and indeterminate, producing substantial fruits that benefit from strong support. A beautiful collector’s variety combining classic Minusinsk genetics, impressive size, brilliant orange colour and excellent flavour.
