Minusinsky Lord

Minusinsk Lord, also known as Vlastelin Minusinskiy (Властелин Минусинский), is a rare heirloom from the legendary tomato-growing region of Minusinsk, Siberia. The variety is known in more than one colour form, including an orange-yellow version, while this selection produces the beautiful pink form.

The large, heart-shaped fruits ripen to a rich pink to raspberry colour and typically weigh around 300–450 g, with exceptionally meaty yet juicy flesh. The flavour is rich, sweet and full-bodied, with that classic old-fashioned character for which Minusinsk tomatoes are so highly prized.

Plants are indeterminate and mid-season, producing substantial fruits throughout the season. A particularly beautiful Minusinsk heirloom for collectors who appreciate large pink hearts, rich flavour and rare Siberian varieties.
