Minusinski Heart

Minusinsk Heart, also known as Serdtse Minusinska, is a treasured Siberian heirloom originating from the famous tomato-growing region of Minusinsk, Russia. It produces magnificent heart-shaped tomatoes, typically weighing 300–700 g, with exceptional fruits capable of approaching 1 kg.

The fruits have exceptionally meaty, dense yet juicy flesh with very few seeds. Their flavour is outstanding: intensely tomatoey and sweet, balanced by just enough traditional acidity to give them the rich, old-fashioned character for which Minusinsk tomatoes are prized.

Plants are vigorous and indeterminate, requiring strong support for their heavy fruits. A superb collector’s heirloom combining the beautiful oxheart shape, enormous fruit size, meaty texture and exceptional flavour associated with the legendary tomatoes of Minusinsk.
