Golden Koenigsberg

Golden Koenigsberg is a beautiful Siberian variety producing an abundance of large, elongated golden-orange fruits. Smooth and plum-to-pepper shaped, the tomatoes typically weigh 150–300 g, with particularly large specimens reaching around 400 g.

The flesh is exceptionally dense, meaty and fleshy, with very few seeds and little gel. Its flavour is wonderfully sweet, mild and slightly fruity, with very low acidity. The combination of colour and dense flesh makes it excellent for fresh eating as well as producing thick, rich golden sauces and purées.

Plants are vigorous, indeterminate and mid-season, reaching around 1.8–2 m. They are remarkably productive, often carrying 5–6 substantial fruits per truss, and are well adapted to both greenhouse and outdoor cultivation.
